Grahame Crossing

...My 'passion' in Ministry, is my conviction that God is calling the Church to a deeper experience of Him through a very real relationship with his Son Jesus, a dynamic encounter of his Holy Spirit and true, relational fellowship (koinonia) with one another as followers and worshippers of Jesus - just as the first believers exerienced as recorded in Acts 4:31-33.

...I receieved my Bachelor of Theolgy through SCD (Sydney College of Divinity) in 2000 and was ordained as a Minister of the Word in the Uniting Church in Australia. In 2003, I resigned form ministry in the Uniting Church and in 2005 returned to the Central Coast with my wife Rae and two children: Bethany and Aiden. In 2007, my wife and I were received as members of Lakes Baptist Church in Gorokan and in 2009, transfered our membership to Wamberal Grace Community. My 'passion' in Ministry, is my conviction that God is calling the Church to a deeper experience of Him through a very real relationship with his Son Jesus, a dynamic encounter of his Holy Spirit and genuine, relational fellowship (koinonia) with one another as followers and worshippers of Jesus - just as the first believers exerienced as recorded in Acts 4:31-33. I am convinced that as we - the disciples of Jesus - discover and live out of the love Jesus calls us to, then we will have something to offer our community: a gospel that is lived rather than just preached! My 'catch-cry' in ministry is: "if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed." (John 8:36) For it is by Grace we have been saved - not through works! (Gal. 5:1) My desire is that we might experience that freedom so as to be released to realise who we are: God's loved and blessed children. Grahame is a Marriage and Funeral Celebrant.
